Grains is a short dance film made within the project House choreographers at the Arts Campus in Umeå. The film Grains reflects ideas that came forth during the larger project House Choreographers.
The overall idea of the project was seeing how dance and choreography could deepen, affect and give perspective to existing work at the Arts Campus in Umeå. Through collaborations with RISE Institute and designer Aditya Pawar connected to the Design School in Umeå a number of experiments took place. The work was presented through performances, talks and workshops in Umeå city as well as making and showing Grains.
