REFLEKTIONER
Reflektioner (Reflections) is an exhibition and a performative weeklong event in combination with the social context of having a cup of coffee with visitors and audience. Me and my colleague in Nomodaco – Carolina Bäckman – showed new solo works and hosted Umeå Konsthall during a week in January 2019. Together with composer Johannes Burström and light designer Tobias Leira, me and Carolina deconstructed our artistic processes and its relationship to some of the big questions and small mysteries in life. Embraced by joint history, materialized into a series of dance performances during the last ten years, a reflective work took place in the landscape of a shared now.
As a part of our program, we also showed video works and invited guests to discuss important topics of today.
Lectures and open talks during the week:

Moodboard, The Peripheral Project
Collected film and sound material from Tove Skeidsvoll research residency at Dansens Hus, September 2015.
Your attention is the currency when the impact is out of focus.
The Peripheral Project is working with experience on the threshold of our attention, focusing on the peripheral of our senses. What surrounds us affects us – in our choices and in our relationship to objects, places and people. The project is initiated by choreographer and dancer Tove Skeidsvoll and together with experience designer Josefin Vargö, designer John Astbury, composer Johannes Burström, architect Oren Lieberman, professor of dance interpretation Cecilia Roos and dancers Anna Ehnberg and Moa Westerlund it was further developed during a residency at Dansens Hus 2015.
